1. Who we are

Booknara is operated by VirdisTech LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States ("Booknara", "we", "us").

Contact us at support@getbooknara.com. This address is also our single point of contact for authorities and users under the EU Digital Services Act; we answer in English, French or Spanish. These terms apply to the Booknara website and apps at getbooknara.com.

2. What Booknara does

Booknara is an online marketplace. It lets independent beauty, grooming and wellness businesses ("professionals") show their services, prices and availability, and lets you book and pay a deposit online.

Professionals are independent traders, not Booknara's employees or agents for the service. The service itself (for example a haircut) is provided by the professional, and your contract for it is with the professional, who is responsible for it and for your consumer rights in it. Booknara is not a party to that contract and does not provide, supervise or guarantee the service, but we help when something goes wrong, as described below.

Each professional's page shows their business name and address, so you know who you are contracting with.

3. How search results are ordered

Search results show professionals in your country who can take a booking. They are ordered by: (1) how well the service matches what you searched for; (2) whether the professional has a free time in the next days; (3) distance from the place you chose. Professionals cannot pay to rank higher, and their Booknara plan does not change their position. Ratings are shown but do not affect the order.

4. Your account

You can book as a guest or with an account. To create an account you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and give accurate information.

Keep your password safe; you are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it. You can ask us to close your account at any time by writing to us.

5. Booking and paying a deposit

Before you book, Booknara shows the full price of the service and any add-ons, including any tax the professional charges, the deposit you pay online now, the balance you pay at the appointment, and the cancellation terms that apply. Prices are set by the professional.

Every booking requires a deposit, paid online through our payment partner, Stripe. The deposit is part of the price of the service, not an extra fee. Booknara collects it as the professional's limited agent: once you have paid Booknara, you have paid that amount to the professional. Booknara never sees or stores your full card details.

A booking is confirmed only when the deposit payment succeeds, and we send you a confirmation by email. The rest of the price is paid directly to the professional at the appointment, by the means they accept.

Bookings are domestic: you can book professionals in the country you've chosen in your account, which must be where the appointment takes place.

6. Cancelling, rescheduling and no-shows

Our Cancellation, Refund & Deposit Policy explains when you can cancel or reschedule for free, when a deposit may be kept, how refunds work and how to dispute a kept deposit. It forms part of these terms.

Where the law of the country where you live gives you a right to cancel an online booking within a cooling-off period, you have that right. The Country-specific terms explain how it applies in your country.

7. Reviews

Only the customer of a completed appointment can review it, once per booking, so every review on Booknara comes from a real visit. Reviews must be honest, about your own experience, and must not contain offensive, unlawful or personal information. We do not pay for or edit reviews to change their meaning; we may remove reviews that break these rules, and we tell the author why. Professionals can reply publicly.

8. Acceptable use and reporting content

Please don't:

  • make bookings you don't intend to keep, or book in someone else's name without their permission;
  • use Booknara for anything unlawful, fraudulent or abusive;
  • copy, scrape or overload the service, or try to get around its security;
  • harass professionals or other users.

If you see content on Booknara you believe is illegal or breaks these terms, report it to support@getbooknara.com with the page address and the reason. We review reports promptly and tell you what we decided. If we remove content or restrict an account, we tell the person affected why and how to contest it.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

9. Our responsibility

We work to keep Booknara accurate and available, but we can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Information about services comes from professionals.

To the extent the law allows, Booknara isn't liable for the professional's service or conduct, or for indirect losses. Where we are liable, our total liability to you for a booking is limited to the amount you paid through Booknara for it.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, or any other liability or consumer guarantee that the law of the country where you live does not allow to be limited.

10. Complaints

If something went wrong with a booking or with Booknara, write to support@getbooknara.com with your booking reference. We acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and aim to resolve them within 30 days. Some countries add their own complaint channels; see the Country-specific terms.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll show the date of the latest version here and, for important changes, tell you before they apply. Bookings already made keep the terms accepted when they were made.

12. Law, courts and languages

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.

Please contact us first at support@getbooknara.com; most problems can be solved quickly.

These terms are written in English and translated into other languages. The English version applies, unless the law of the country where you live requires the version in your language to apply, in which case that version applies.

If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest remains in force. We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over Booknara, without reducing your rights.
